Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cosmetic Chemist with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation, product development, production, and quality control.

The candidate should have experience in developing and formulating a wide range of cosmetic products, including skincare, haircare, makeup, and personal-care products such as face wash, face cream, serum, sunscreen, body wash, shampoo, hair serum, hair mask, lip balm, lipstick, lip liner, eyeliner, eyeshadow, blush, foundation, compact powder, concealer, primer, makeup remover, and other cosmetic products.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for cosmetic formulation and product development, conducting formulation trials, selecting suitable raw materials and cosmetic ingredients, and improving existing formulations.



The role also involves stability and compatibility testing, monitoring product parameters such as pH, viscosity, texture, colour, fragrance, consistency, and appearance, and troubleshooting formulation or production-related issues.

The candidate will coordinate with the R&D;, Production, and Quality Assurance teams, maintain formulation sheets, batch records, testing reports, and technical documentation, and ensure products meet required quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

The candidate must have a B.Sc. in Chemistry and 2–3 years of relevant experience in cosmetic formulation, production, or R&D.; Robust knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, ingredients, and formulation techniques is required, along with good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
