Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the overall test automation strategy across Web, API, and Mobile applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks from scratch.
- Evaluate and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve reliability, maintainability, and execution efficiency.
- Lead a team of 6 or more QA Automation Engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and career development support.
- Perform Proof of Concepts (POCs) on emerging automation tools, AI solutions, and testing technologies.
- Conduct R&D; activities and recommend the best automation tools and frameworks based on project requirements.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Drive API automation and Mobile automation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps,
and QA teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to improving testability of applications.
- Analyze automation execution results, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve framework stability.
- Establish automation best practices, coding standards, and quality metrics.
- Provide regular status updates, effort estimations, and automation coverage reports to stakeholders.
