Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Shift Incharge to manage shift-wise operations and maintenance activities at the power plant. The candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient plant operation, equipment availability, manpower deployment, and coordination with maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage complete shift operations of the plant/AHP system.
- Monitor plant equipment and operating parameters through PLC/DCS/SCADA.
- Ensure smooth operation of conveyors, crushers, feeders, screens, pumps and other material handling equipment.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical and C&I; teams for breakdown and maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment abnormalities, alarms, trips and ensure timely corrective action.




- Ensure proper start-up, shutdown and changeover of equipment as per SOPs.
- Plan and allocate shift manpower including operators, technicians and contract manpower.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance activities are executed safely and effectively.
- Maintain shift logbooks, equipment status reports and daily operational MIS.
- Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, safety procedures and site regulations.
- Coordinate with client/site management during operational issues and emergencies.
- Ensure proper shift handover with complete information on plant status and pending jobs.
- Monitor equipment availability and minimize downtime during the shift.
- Ensure housekeeping and protected working conditions within the plant area.
