Responsibilities:

* Installation, commissioning and testing of CNC machines and automation
systems at customer sites
* Performing preventive maintenance and service activities to ensure optimal
machine performance
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and
pneumatic issues
* Providing on-site technical support and assisting customers with technical
inquiries
* Supporting the development and establishment of service and customer
structures within the regional market
* Documenting all service activities and coordinating closely with internal and
international teams

Qualifications:

* Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity,
decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate
must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate
AI-generated outputs.

3–5 years of experience in a field service role, ideally within the
CNC or machine tool industry

* Solid skills in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic
systems, as well as CNC (and ideally PLC) technologies
* Solid knowledge of CNC milling; experience with Heidenhain controls is an
advantage
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and engineering
drawings
* Independent and structured working style combined with a strong service and
customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to operate in a developing market
environment
* High willingness to travel (up to approx. 75%), valid driver’s license and
very good English skills
