Amity University Kolkata invites applications from distinguished academicians and professionals for the position of Professor of Architecture . The successful candidate will provide academic leadership in teaching, research, consultancy, curriculum development, and institutional governance while mentoring faculty and students in achieving excellence in architectural education.

Academic Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Architecture.

Develop innovative curriculum aligned with Council of Architecture (CoA), UGC, and university regulations.

Arch thesis projects, dissertations, and research work.

Mentor students for academic excellence, internships, competitions, and career development.

Lead high-quality research in Architecture, Urban Design, Planning, Sustainability, Building Technology, Heritage Conservation, Digital Design, or related fields.

Publish research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals.





Secure externally funded research projects and consultancy assignments.

D. scholars and promote interdisciplinary research.

Academic Administration

Participate in accreditation, curriculum revision, and quality assurance initiatives.

Organize conferences, faculty development programmes, seminars, exhibitions, and industry interactions.

Foster collaborations with industry, government agencies, and academic institutions.

Promote consultancy projects and professional practice.

Build partnerships with architectural firms, planning organizations, and government bodies.

Facilitate internships, live projects, and collaborative research.

Mentor junior faculty members.

Contribute to student admissions, outreach, branding, and institutional development.

D. in Architecture or allied discipline is desirable/preferred as per institutional and applicable regulatory norms.
