DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

We are seeking an Engineer III – Opto-Electrical to join a growing R&D; team in
Hyderabad supporting sustaining engineering, VAVE, and lifecycle management for
the KingFisher sample preparation systems and Detection instruments.

In this role, you will be a key individual contributor, owning opto-electrical
subsystems and supporting the design, integration, and performance of optical




and electrical components within instrument platforms. You will work closely
with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, improve system
performance, and contribute to cost optimization and lifecycle management
efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Opto-Electrical Design & Development:

* Design, develop, and support opto-electrical assemblies, including optical
sensors, photodetectors, signal conditioning circuits, and illumination
control systems
* Own subsystems or modules, including circuit design, PCB layout, and
documentation
* Support optical signal processing, noise analysis, and performance
optimization of integrated systems
* Collaborate on selection and integration of opto-electrical components (e.g.,
photodiodes, LEDs, lasers, detectors, optical transceivers)

Sustaining Engineering & Lifecycle Support:

* Execute sustaining activities including design updates, ECO implementation,
and component obs
