Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute on-premises to Azure Cloud data migration projects.
- Work extensively with MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Design and implement HA/DR, backup, recovery, capacity planning, and scaling strategies.
- Perform schema conversion, dependency analysis, compatibility assessment, and remediation.
- Ensure zero/low-downtime migrations with data validation and reconciliation.
- Optimize cloud databases and applications for performance, scalability, availability, and cost.
- Troubleshoot critical issues related to performance, system stability, and resource utilization.
- Drive hands-on migration activities across complex, multi-platform database environments.
- Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, Application, and Infrastructure teams.
- Provide strong production support and resolve critical technical issues.
- Contribute to enterprise-scale cloud modernization and migration programs.

- 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong relevant experience in Azure, database architecture, and data migration.
- Proven experience in hands-on execution of large-scale database migration projects, not limited to solution design.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
