JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Human Resources Generalist will assist with daily functions of the HR
department including hiring, wage and benefit administration, leave
administration, training, and administering company policies and practices.

What you'll do:

* Implement and maintain Schreiber HR policies and practices.
* Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants
for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand
skills and competencies required for openings.
* Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource
programs including but not limited to policies, compensation, benefits, and
leave; disciplinary matters; peer review and investigations; performance and
talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; DEI; environmental
health and safety; and training and development.
* Develop standard work for HR roles and drive the process to improve
individual and team performance.




* Provide appropriate department coverage for plant partner and leadership
support.
* Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with required training,
assessments, stay interviews and exit interviews.
* Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and leaders,
referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
* Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and
regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices
to maintain compliance.
* Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and current
technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
* Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and
investigations.
