SAFETY OFFICER
HSE certificate such as NEBOSH, IOSH and OSHA 30 Hours.
Positive communication and monitoring skills
Diploma in a relevant field
Knowledge about construction industry
6 years minimum in Similar role in construction industry
Report only to Site Safety Manager/Engineer/Supervisor.
Keep a record of all daily/weekly safety meetings at the workplace, complete with subject discussed and a signed list of attendees.
Perform Tool Box Talk (TBT)
Review the work permit system before proceed the tasks.
Maintain records of equipment and tools inspection/ testing certificates.
Monitor correct use of safety barriers including timely removal.
Issue a detailed daily/weekly/monthly safety report including all
accident/incident, hazards and near misses observed, manpower, man-hours worked and to submit it to Client Safety Representative.
Ensure that a safety discrepancy logbook is posted in each work areas, its location can be easily noticed / accessed, and the supervisors review the logbooks on regular basis to take the necessary corrective action.
