Job Summary

The Finance and Accounts Head is responsible for managing the company’s financial health, overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations and contributes to strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis:
Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
Monitor cash flow and advise on financial strategies to maintain liquidity.
Accounting Operations:
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Reporting & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance practices.




Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders (e.g., CEO, CFO, board members).
Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax consultants.
Risk Management & Internal Controls:
Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, operational, and market risks.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage the finance and accounting team.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to ensure qualified growth and development.
Set performance objectives, monitor team performance, and implement improvements as needed.
Strategic Decision Support:
Work closely with senior management to align financial strategy with business objectives.
Provide insights and recommendations for investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and financial growth strategies.
