Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide database support for both production and non-production environments.
- Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code to achieve maximum performance and efficiency.
- Conduct performance tuning , query analysis , and troubleshoot database-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and maintain high-quality, reliable code.
- Collaborate with development teams during design reviews to provide database architecture and optimization recommendations .
- Prepare and execute Unit Tests (UTs) to validate code stability and performance.
- Continuously monitor database performance , identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues.
- Document best practices , maintain runbooks , and contribute to improving database operations and support processes.

Years of Experience:
- 6–9 years of experience in SQL , PL/SQL , performance tuning ,



and database support .

Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.
- Oracle certifications (OCP/OCA) preferred.

Skill Set Required:
Must Have:
- Solid expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Proven experience in SQL performance tuning and PL/SQL optimization techniques .
- High-level understanding of Oracle Database Architecture .
- Experience with design , unit testing (UTs) , and code quality reviews .

Good to Have:
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines .
