The Prospect
The HVDC Service Tendering Specialist role focuses on developing, managing, and executing high-quality and competitive bids for the HVDC Service portfolio. The role involves leading end-to-end tendering activities across aftermarket service offerings such as Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), spare parts management, emergency services, preventative maintenance, control system upgrades, and retrofit solutions. The position bridges technical expertise and commercial strategy by applying structured tendering methodologies to analyze customer requirements, define technical solutions, optimize profitability, and mitigate risks. It also includes preparing detailed documentation such as technical proposals, commercial offers, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), cost estimations, and risk assessments to support business growth,



operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and long-term service reliability.

How you’ll make an impact
- Lead end-to-end preparation of technical, commercial, and financial proposals for HVDC service tenders and LTSAs in the India region.
- Analyze customer tenders, RFPs, and technical specifications to identify requirements, deviations, and strategic opportunities.
- Develop and structure Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including KPIs, response times, and availability guarantees for long-term contracts.
- Align technical proposals with HVDC systems including Converter Transformers, Valve Cooling Systems, and Control & Protection (C&P;) architectures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define scope for upgrades, retrofits, lifecycle extensions, and system modernizations.
- Coordinate with supply chain, factories, and vendors to estimate costs for materials, tools, and site services.
