Responsibilities




- Manage and deliver multistate income and franchise tax compliance and consulting engagements
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on assigned engagements, ensuring timely communication and high quality service
- Coordinate state income and franchise tax return preparation and review processes
- Support state tax planning initiatives for corporations, partnerships, and individuals
- Assist with state tax controversy matters, including audits, notices, and appeals
- Perform and review apportionment and revenue sourcing analyses for income and franchise taxes
- Conduct multistate technical tax research to support filing positions, planning opportunities, and client advice
- Monitor and apply state and local tax legislative developments affecting income and franchise tax
- Prepare and review technical memorandums, client correspondence, and internal guidance
