Overview

We are seeking someone who prides themselves on delivering technically excellent work, with robust analytical and reporting standards, and who embraces innovative approaches to sustainability assessment. In this role, you will work on Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Embodied / Whole-life Carbon studies, and Sustainability certification deliverables (LEED, BREEAM etc), supporting low-carbon strategies across infrastructure and built environment projects. You will contribute to data collection, modelling, and interpretation, and help embed whole-life carbon principles into design and procurement decisions.
You will collaborate with a wider team of professionals across disciplines to provide integrated sustainability solutions to our clients.

Your role




- Deliver and support LCAs and Embodied / Whole-life Carbon studies, including data collection, validation, and benchmarking.
- Prepare auditable LCA reports and Sustainability Documentation for certifications (LEED/BREEAM and similar).
- Use LCA tools, integrate BIM data, and manage datasets for robust models.
- Apply PAS 2080, RICS WLCA, and green building standards.
- Review Carbon Factors/EPDs and advise on Low-Carbon Procurement.
- Document technical notes and contribute to bids and client presentations.
- Coordinate with Architects, Engineers, and procurement teams to embed low-carbon design early.

About you

Ideally, you would have the following qualifications and/or attributes:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil / Environmental / Mechanical Engineering / Building Services / Architecture or related discipline.
- Relevant credentials (e.g., LEED GA/AP, BREEAM/WELL Assessor) are a plus.
