Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Security Tooling & Scanner Management (Supervised): Oversee, triage, and route findings from SAST/SCA (Snyk) and DAST (BurpSuite) scanners, ensuring vulnerabilities across repositories, websites, and API endpoints are validated and assigned to development teams.
- Penetration Testing & SLA Tracking: Coordinate scoping, scheduling, and tracking for third-party penetration testing engagements. Manage vulnerability remediation tickets, track SLA aging, document compensating controls, and maintain scanning architecture.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Prepare agendas, posture summaries, and co-chair monthly AppSec meetings with 15+ product teams to track remediation commitments and keep process documentation and runbooks up to date.
Qualifications
- Education: Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Application Security principles, OWASP Top 10, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., SAST, SCA, DAST) or code repositories.
- Communication & Organizational Skills: Robust interpersonal skills to interface with 250+ engineers/developers, with excellent organization to manage ticket queues, agendas, and technical runbooks.
