Our RDD IT Team
The RDD IT function has end-to-end accountability for the design, delivery, and support of the systems that enable Dyson’s global research, engineering, and product development communities.
This includes:
- Engineering platforms such as the enterprise EDA and electronics development IT ecosystem (Siemens EDA-based), seeking seamless integration with PLM, simulation, and manufacturing partners and systems.
- Other global product development systems and processes, like PLM and CAE.
- Delivery of transformation initiatives and operational IT services across multiple global research, design and development sites.

The Role
The Technical Product Manager – EDA is responsible for defining, owning,



and evolving technical products within the RDD IT landscape for electronics development and design.
Operating within the RDD IT function, this role ensures that EDA product roadmaps are aligned to engineering needs and business priorities, translating complex requirements into structured plans for delivery. You will act as a key interface between engineering stakeholders, solution architects, and delivery teams, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned to industry best practices.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to oversee the quality of delivery, drive continuous improvement across product and application lifecycles, and contribute to the long-term evolution of Dyson’s engineering technology landscape.
