Role Summary
The Director of Engineering & Technology is a senior leadership role responsible for driving engineering strategy, delivery excellence, and technical innovation across Artic Consulting’s clients.
This role combines deep technical expertise with strong people's leadership, operational rigor, and client-facing consulting capabilities. The Director will lead multiple engineering teams, ensure technology readiness, deliver high-quality solutions (primarily on Microsoft Azure), and act as a trusted technology advisor for clients and internal stakeholders.
Required Skill Set for this Role:
- Establish and nurture a consulting work environment that leverages strong business acumen to consistently achieve client success.




- Lead the development and growth of high-performing, scalable engineering teams, expanding from 20 to 150 engineers within three years.
- Oversee the successful delivery of Azure-based consulting projects, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Champion the adoption of AI/GenAI and modern cloud-native architectures to maintain Microsoft Partnership status and drive technological advancement.
- Enhance operational efficiency by implementing cost optimization strategies and reducing incident rates across engineering operations.
- Implement and promote best practices, including regular knowledge-sharing sessions, continuous feedback loops, and collaborative problem-solving, to drive individual and project success.
- Foster a client-focused consulting culture dedicated to delivering Azure-based solutions that achieve robust client outcomes, high satisfaction, and 95% adherence to budget.
