We are seeking a seasoned SAP ABAP Consultant and will be part of the Internal SAP Technical team and will be responsible for ABAP developments in SAP ERP. The Internal team is owner and custodian of all custom developments in the SAP system. The team handles various types of SAP related initiatives like roll outs, implementation, upgrade, support, enhancements, and Integrations. You will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using SAP ABAP Development. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and developing solutions to meet those requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SAP ABAP applications, including forms, reports, and interfaces.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and design customized solutions using SAP ABAP.
- Configure and maintain SAP SD modules, such as Sales and Distribution.
- Create and maintain CDS views and smart forms, and implement OData services and enhancements.




- Participate in complete SAP projects and rollouts, contributing to both projects and support initiatives.
- Work closely with Technical and Functional leads, Project Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders for development activities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality, security, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Design, implement, and test automated and manual processes to support business needs and corporate strategy.
- Translate business requirements into technical design documentation, and conduct code and design reviews of IT applications.
- Support the onsite consulting team of experts in all relevant aspects of development work and coordinate with remote development teams.
- Participate in practice initiatives, demonstrate innovation, share knowledge, and enhance reusability.
