Engineer Gears & Shafts

Job Introduction:

Design responsibility for BB parts as gears & shafts, differentials, bearings, sealings screws & minor parts.

Major Responsibilities:
- Interface with plants, suppliers, purchasing and SQD (Supplier Quality Development) including collaboration in Simultaneous-Engineering-Meetings
- Creation or initiation of technical drawings, 3D models, and BOMs, including data exchange with internal and external customers/suppliers
- Creation and maintenance of book of requirements and technical specifications
- Creation and tracking of change requests and initiation of change orders in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
- Conducting design and functional approvals
- Initiation, supervision, and evaluation of calculations to be performed internally/externally
- Performing package investigation and tolerance c
