Role purpose
As a Senior Specialist – Accounting & Taxation, you will be responsible for leading and managing the organization’s direct tax, indirect tax (GST), and financial reporting activities. You will drive compliance excellence, establish robust tax controls, and ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements across the company and its group entities. The successful candidate will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to provide tax advisory support, manage audits and assessments, identify tax risks, and ensure accurate financial reporting.



This position will be responsible for driving tax compliance, supporting business initiatives from a taxation perspective, and strengthening governance and control frameworks. The focus will be on direct tax, GST, financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and business partnering, in line with Accelya’s global business strategy, values, and mission.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Independently manage Income Tax and GST compliances for the company and its group entities.
- Oversee Income Tax return filings, audits, assessments, and related regulatory requirements.
- Manage GST return filings, assessments, appeals, audits, and refund applications.
- Establish and maintain effective controls and compliance processes for transactions impacting direct and indirect taxes.
- Identify tax risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
