Job Summary

Quality Inspector – Heavy Fabrication & Machining Items

Job Purpose
- Ensure timely, accurate, and thorough inspection of heavy fabricated and machined components.
- Coordinate and execute inspection activities in-house and at supplier/vendor locations,



ensuring compliance with approved standards, drawings, and quality plans.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Conduct inspections using calibrated measuring and testing instruments.
- Prepare and submit accurate inspection reports within defined timelines.
- Maintain effective coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality procedures and standards.
- Continuously upgrade technical and skilled competencies.

Core Responsibilities
- Interpret and verify components against engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
- Understand and implement Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
- Perform raw material inspection, including review of MTCs and coordination of NDT activities.
- Carry out in‑process and final inspections at vendor premises.
- Execute inspections in heavy fabrication and machine shop environments.
