An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Finance Data Transformation Lab as a Finance Data SME. The core purpose of the role is to support Finance in transforming how finance uses data from across the organisation to support all finance processes through use of Google Cloud Platform and Oracle.

The role requires a strong source system and finance data/systems background and the ability to establish effective relationships as you work closely with key stakeholders across all areas of the business.



Your ability to provide insightful advice and appropriate challenge to these stakeholders is central to the role and helps ensure that any changes to finance applications are supported and implemented in a controlled way.

Key responsibilities:

To provide specialised knowledge and expertise in the Finance Data ‘domain’ into, or as part of, an agile Team. The Finance SME will work alongside different Feature/Component Teams as needed.
- Finance Domain Expertise. SMEs with knowledge of the Finance Domain, Data and Systems in which the product operates. This includes industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Finance Product Knowledge. For existing Products, SMEs offer insights into the current product features and limitations.
