A Day in the Life
We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and managing SAP security solutions, with substantial involvement in multiple S/4HANA transformation projects. The ideal candidate has demonstrated expertise in SAP security across complex landscapes and hands-on experience in S/4HANA migrations and transformations.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
SAP Security Design & Implementation:
- Lead and implement SAP security strategies, roles,



and authorizations for S/4HANA and related environments, ensuring alignment with business requirements and compliance standards.
- Design and manage complex role structures across S/4HANA, ECC, and Fiori.
- Design, configuration and deployment of SAP GRC Access Control Components.
- Conduct risk analysis and remediation for Segregation of Duties (SoD) and critical access.
- S/4HANA Transformation Involvement:
- Actively participate in S/4HANA transformation projects, including brownfield and/or hybrid approaches. Assess and redesign ECC security models for S/4HANA compatibility.
- User & Role Management:
- Oversee user access, role design, and authorizations across SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, Fiori, BW/4HANA, etc.), ensuring proper segregation of duties (SoD).
- Security Audits & Compliance:
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and SoD reviews. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., S
