Overview





Seismic is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer II – Performance Engineering to join our dynamic and creative team. As a key member of the Quality Engineering organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform by designing, building, and executing robust performance testing frameworks and strategies.
You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, SRE, infrastructure, and delivery teams to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across our cloud‑native systems.

Who you are:
- 5–8 years of experience in performance testing / performance engineering
- Strong experience with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Locust, or similar
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and performance bottleneck analysis
- Experience with API performance testing (REST-based systems)Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability too
