As a Lead Architect - iOS at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on up-to-date cloud-based technologies. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals.
Job responsibilities
- Apply deep knowledge of native mobile platforms (Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android) to guide development teams and make critical technical decisions.
- Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend architects to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
- Develop, communicate, and manage the Technology Roadmap. Lead Special Initiatives as directed by Senior Management
- Stay informed on security standards, authentication protocols, and products




- Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs
- Leverages enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture discovery and decisioning, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data.
- Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC/toolchain practices, ensuring traceability/auditability, resiliency, and security controls.
- Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy. Participates in architecture governance bodies
- Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and industry trends, recommending adoption where beneficial.
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approache
