Design Engineer - Mechatronics

The position requires in-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of Product Design
& Development preferably with Semiconductor, Medical and/or Aerospace domain,
uses best practices and knowledge to improve products and services, solves complex
problems, and brings a recent perspective using existing solutions.
This role requires strong communication, in addition to being comfortable with working
independently through ambiguities under minimal guidance, and acts as a resource for
colleagues with less experience.

Key Responsibilities
Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key
suppliers. Generate mechanical product specifications.
May be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custom
mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly
and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies
throughout the product life cycle.



Establishes standards across all operational processes
Specify and review engineering documentation

Experience of designs with:
 Development life cycle from concept design to manufacturing
 GD&T;
 CAD (NX preferred)
 Prototyping and design validation through testing
 Mechatronics designs and integrations
 Reliability testing
 Manufacturing Methods
 Innovation (new product introduction, invention discoveries, patents)
 Technical Documentation (including presentations and specs development,
feasibility studies)
 Accuracy & Attention to Detail
 Material Selection
 DfX (Manufacturing, assembly, safety, ergonomics)
 Project Management
Education: BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M. Tech with any Mechanical Engineering related
specialization.
Experience: Around 5 Years
