Department Overview

MGO India is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join as Tax Manager. The role will be responsible for managing India tax compliances, supporting tax governance, coordinating with external consultants and internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate execution of direct tax, GST, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and tax assessment related matters. The ideal candidate should bring strong hands-on tax compliance experience, Big Four consulting exposure, sound technical judgment,



and the ability to operate in a quick-paced global office environment.

Duties

Direct Tax and Withholding Tax
- Manage direct tax compliances, including advance tax workings, tax return preparation support, tax audit coordination, and annual income tax return filing process.
- Review tax computations, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation prepared internally or by external consultants.
- Oversee withholding tax / TDS compliance, including monthly deduction validation, challan payments, quarterly return filings, Form 16 / Form 16A support, and resolution of TDS defaults or mismatches.
- Track compliance calendars and ensure timely completion of all statutory tax filings, payments, and documentation requirements.
- Partner with finance, payroll, procurement, legal, and global tax teams to evaluate tax implications of transactions and business changes.
