We are currently hiring for a Senior Software Engineer – Backend Developer for our esteemed client Embitel Technologies. This role is ideal for professionals who are experienced in backend development using Java (Spring Boot) or .NET Core, and who are also familiar with DevOps practices, cloud technologies (especially Microsoft Azure), and modern development workflows including GitHub Actions.

This is a high-impact, hands-on technical role where you’ll contribute to building scalable, high-performance services. You will be working in a distributed, cross-functional team following Agile/Scrum methodologies, and will be expected to actively engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

? Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development:




Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using either Java (Spring Boot) or .NET Core. You’ll contribute to new feature development as well as enhancements and bug fixes for existing applications.

DevOps & CI/CD:
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Ensure seamless integration, delivery, and deployment of applications.

Production Support:
Take part in OnCall rotations, handling deployments, and supporting live production systems. You’ll monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure uptime and reliability.

Agile Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Product Owners, Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, and other backend developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
