Role Overview:
The role serves as the business and product owner for Croma's Private Label Laptop category, partnering closely with the Category Lead to define product strategy, customer proposition and commercial success. The role owns the category P&L;, product roadmap, pricing strategy and end-to-end commercialization, while working closely with the Buying team on procurement execution and inventory planning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
Own the product strategy and portfolio roadmap for the Private Label laptop category.
Define product architecture, technical specifications and feature prioritization.
Translate consumer insights and competitive intelligence into differentiated products.
Drive lifecycle management including refreshes and portfolio optimization.
2. Go-To-Market (GTM) & Execution, followed by Product Roadmap
Drive end-to-end GTM execution, ensuring seamless alignment across marketing, e-commerce, and store operations for current product launches.
Support promotional design, tactical pricing execution,
and channel readiness to ensure successful commercial rollouts.
Provide the required technical depth to support in building a robust 1–3 year product roadmap
3. Demand & Inventory Planning
Own demand planning inputs and sales forecasts for the portfolio.
Partner with Buying and Supply Chain teams to ensure optimal inventory availability and healthy stock levels.
Monitor inventory health and recommend corrective actions to improve sell-through and working capital.
4. Product Quality & Customer Experience (CX)
Define critical product quality metrics and collaborate with quality assurance teams (internal or external) for factory due diligence and production sign-offs
Embed customer experience (CX) inputs into the product design phase, ensuring the hardware, thermals, display, and overall build quality meets standard
Analyze post-launch product feedback to drive continuous improvement in future iterations
