Job Role: Executive – Insurance & Claims

Educational Qualification:
LL.B. and/or a Marine Insurance qualification from a reputed institute such as the National Insurance Academy (NIA).

Experience:
1-3 years of experience in marine insurance, shipping, claims handling, legal services, P&I; Clubs, insurance, arbitration, or related fields. Prior exposure to the shipping or maritime industry will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities
Assist in arranging and maintaining insurance coverage for the Company's fleet and shore-based operations in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Manage marine insurance claims from notification through settlement, ensuring maximum recoveries under applicable policies. Liaise with insurers, brokers, P&I; Clubs, surveyors, lawyers, and other stakeholders on claims and insurance-related matters.
Support the department in handling shipping-related legal matters, including charterparty disputes, contractual claims, arbitration proceedings, and related issues.




Review insurance-related clauses in contracts, charterparties, and other commercial agreements.
Assist in monitoring regulatory, sanctions, and compliance developments impacting shipping and insurance operations.

Technical Knowledge
Sound understanding of Shipping and Maritime operations.
Knowledge of marine and other insurance products.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
