About the Role
Proven experience as a QA Engineer, including experience in test planning, test case design, and execution. Robust understanding of software testing methodologies, testing types, and best practices. Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and frameworks. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is beneficial. Relevant certifications like ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for different phases of the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and design effective testing approaches.
Design, create, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts to identify software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
Conduct both manual and automated testing as required.
Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking systems.
Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and validate fixes.
Lead and contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks, scripts, and tools to increase the efficiency of testing processes.
Continuously improve automation coverage to catch regressions early in the development cycle.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to communicate testing progress, issues, and overall quality status.
Participate in agile development processes, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning meetings.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers.
Lead by example in terms of best practices, testing methodologies, and quality standards.
