As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorganChase within the Asset and
Wealth Management, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation
activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team’s work
adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best
practices.

Job responsibilities

* Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and
activities
* Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical
troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional
approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
* Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and
collaboration
* Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and
applications in line with business requirements
* Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring




issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and
systems
* Drives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering
practices within the work setting to improve code quality, delivery
speed, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-assisted code review/refactoring,
test strategy acceleration, incident/root-cause analysis support), while
establishing consistent validation standards (secure coding, peer review,
automated testing) and promoting reuse of effective patterns across the team.
* Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with
compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
* Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for the
team members and prioritizes diverse representation
