About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent
Junior Accountant

to manage day-to-day data entry, stock tracking, and worker attendance for our handmade carpet manufacturing facility in Panipat.

This is a ground-level financial and inventory role where accuracy is everything. You will be responsible for logging material movements into Tally/Excel, recording daily artisan output, and maintaining physical inventory checks to support the smooth running of our production unit.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material & Stock Data Entry (Tally & Excel)
- Record all incoming and outgoing materials (yarn, backing material, packaging material, etc) and packaging items (GRN / Gate Passes).
- Log all outward movements of raw materials to the weaving floor and finished goods to the warehouse/dispatch using Tally and Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain updated digital logs of daily inventory balances.

2. Artisan Attendance & Piece-Rate Calculations
- Record daily attendance and output (e.g., square meters woven, or design stages completed) for weavers and piece-rate workers.




- Assist in preparing accurate weekly/monthly wage payment sheets based on piece-rate formulas provided by management.

3. Physical Inventory Checks
- Perform routine physical audits of raw materials, packaging supplies, and semi-finished carpets in the store.
- Cross-check physical stock against system records in Tally/Excel and report any missing items or discrepancies immediately.

4. General Clerical & Support
- Maintain clean, organized physical filing systems for purchase invoices, delivery challans, and wage receipts.
- Support the senior plant controller with basic cost calculations and stock summaries as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education:

B.Com graduate preferred (12th Pass with relevant experience will also be considered).
- Experience:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in basic accounting and inventory data entry in a factory/store workplace.
