Role Description:
The Homework Club Coordinator is a part-time, on-site role based in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. This position is responsible for planning and delivering after-school homework support sessions, including coordinating schedules, setting up learning spaces, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for participants. Day-to-day tasks include supervising students, providing guidance with schoolwork, liaising with parents and caregivers,



and supporting placement students and volunteer tutors. The coordinator will track attendance and progress, manage basic program administration, and provide feedback to the ASPYA team to improve program quality. The role also involves building robust relationships with local schools and community partners to promote the Homework Club and strengthen support networks for young people.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with young people, families, volunteers, and partner organisations.
- Candidates should possess solid Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to create a welcoming environment and respond to participant and family needs with empathy and professionalism.
- Candidates should possess strong Organisation Skills to manage schedules, resources, records, and program logistics efficiently.
