ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced SAP Security Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Security, GRC Access Control, and HANA database security. The candidate will be responsible for designing and managing secure access across SAP landscapes, ensuring SoD compliance, and supporting SOX/GDPR audits all while working closely with business and IT stakeholders in a US time zone.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, configure, and implement user roles, authorizations, and profiles across SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and ECC environments.

Integrate SAP S/4HANA Security with SAP GRC Access Control for risk analysis, SoD management, and compliance.

Ensure adherence to Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles and lead remediation of identified conflicts.

Perform role design workshops with business process owners to gather and map access requirements.





Conduct periodic user access reviews and compliance audits in line with SOX and GDPR frameworks.

Manage SAP HANA database security — users, roles, privileges, and audit logging.

Prepare and maintain security documentation, access reports, and audit evidence for internal and external reviews.

Support IAM integration and work closely with stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant access design.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

7+ years of hands-on SAP Security experience — S/4HANA, Fiori, and ECC role design and authorization management.

Robust SAP GRC Access Control expertise — ARA, EAM, ARM, BRM modules, SoD ruleset, and risk remediation.

SAP HANA Database Security — user management, system/object/analytic privileges, and audit log configuration.

Solid understanding of SoD principles, compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR), and audit support processes.

Proficiency in SAP security tools — SU53, ST01, SUIM, and authorizati
