Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise shift operations of the Ammonia Plant to achieve production targets.
- Monitor DCS operations and critical process parameters to ensure safe and secure plant operation.
- Optimize plant performance by minimizing energy consumption and maximizing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
- Coordinate plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling activities.
- Troubleshoot process upsets and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for operational issues and implement improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards, statutory regulations,



and environmental norms.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, production reports, and operational records in SAP/DCS systems.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Instrumentation, Utilities, and Quality departments for smooth plant operations.
- Participate in turnaround, shutdown, commissioning, and debottlenecking activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and energy conservation projects.
- Mentor and train operators to improve operational competency and safety awareness.
