Role & responsibilities

Planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling end-to-end PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) operations comprising SMT, THC and PCB Testing processes to ensure seamless implementation of Engineering Change Notes (ECNs), manage audit compliance, and optimize spare parts planning to support uninterrupted production and service requirements.
- PCBA Planning & Delivery Management
- Prepare detailed PCBA production schedules considering SMT line capacity and component availability.
- Manage daily production activities across SMT, THD/THC and PCB Testing lines.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
- Execute production plans while maintaining delivery commitments.
- Balance production loading across multiple lines based on priorities.
- Ensure smooth material flow to prevent line stoppages.
- Drive schedule adherence and on-time completion of production orders.
- SMT & THC Component Level Planning
- Plan and manage component-level requirements for SMT and THC processes as per BOM and production schedules.




- Ensure timely availability of electronic components (ICs, passive components, PCBs, connectors, etc.) to support uninterrupted PCB manufacturing.
- Coordinate with procurement for long lead-time, imported, and critical components.
- Monitor component shortages, alternate part planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage line-side inventory, kitting, and feeder planning for SMT operations.
- Track component consumption, wastage, and variance against BOM.
- Control inventory levels to prevent excess, aging, and obsolescence, especially for high-value electronics.
- ECN (Engineering Change Note) Management
- Manage end-to-end ECN implementation at company level, including impact on SMT, THC, and assembly processes.
- Coordinate with R&D;, SCM, Quality, and Manufacturing teams for timely release, review, and execution of ECNs.
- Assess impact of ECNs on component inventory, WIP (PCB & assembly), and finish
