Description:
- To assess the BIW design at each milestone for its robustness and provide feedback to the execution team
- To approve the TKO along with the Execution team for the change content
- To assess the risk involved in any design deviation and take decision for the deviation
- To update the core DFMEA based on lesson learnt
- To resolve the chronic build & field issues

Task / Deliverables

Design review assessment

1. Tech discussion with the DR on the current design - Regular TDR for value addition
2. Cost & Weight status review
3. Current CAE status Vs Improvement
4. Lesson learnt check
5. Field issue design action check

TKO approver

1. Reviewing the TKO sheet with the Design Execution
2.



Current programs conforming all the design rules are met through Design reviews check sheet.
3. Craftsman issue closure status
4. Feasibility confirmation review with the design execution

Design deviation

1. To have a list of deviations in design, performance
2. To assess the risk associated with the deviation
3. To approve/reject the deviation based on the risk assessment

Issue resolution

1. To resolve and close the level 2 issues (issues which are open more than threshold time) during the launch phase
2. To resolve chronic unresolved issues post-SOP

Standard Harmonization

1. To support the regional core lead in data collection for harmonization

To check the lesson learnt and check it against DFMEA
