Senior Software Engineer I (Java Backend) Bengaluru

The Role
- We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer I – Java Backend with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS Cloud, and System Design.
- The role focuses on building scalable backend applications and cloud-native services while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Lead backend service development and API implementation.
- Drive system design discussions and architecture reviews.
- Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with solid Java backend development expertise.
- Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11/17+).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Extensive experience building Microservices-based applications.




- Strong understanding of REST API design and integration.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
- Knowledge of software design principles and design patterns.
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

System Design Expectations
- Ability to design backend services and APIs for maintainability and scalability.
- Experience making architectural decisions for microservices-based applications.
- Understanding of database design, API contracts, service communication, and application performance.
- Ability to evaluate trade-offs and propose practical technical solutions.
