Job Summary:IIC Lakshya is looking for an experienced Career Counsellor – Team Lead to lead a high-performing team of Career Counsellors and drive admissions growth. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in counselling, admissions, inside sales, or EdTech, along with proven team management skills. You will be responsible for coaching counsellors, improving conversion rates, ensuring excellent student and parent experience, and consistently achieving team revenue and admission targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Career Counsellors to achieve admissions and revenue targets.
- Monitor daily lead allocation, follow-ups, counselling quality, and conversion metrics.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and training programs to improve team productivity.
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding Lakshya's programs, career opportunities, eligibility, fee structure, and admission process.
- Support the team in handling complex counselling cases and closing high-value admissions.




- Review sales pipelines and ensure timely follow-up on all enquiries.
- Handle escalations, resolve objections, and improve overall student experience.
- Ensure accurate CRM updates and maintain counselling records.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Career Development, and Operations teams to improve lead quality and admissions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to counselling standards, admission processes, and organizational policies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory. MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in Career Counselling, Admissions, Educational Sales, Inside Sales, or EdTech.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading a counselling or admissions team.
- Excellent communication, counselling, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Solid leadership and people management abilities.
- Experience working with CRM systems
