We are Hiring Engineer Water Resource Development

Action for Social Advancement (www.asaindia.org) is a national level NGO head quartered at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh working for the livelihoods improvement of Rural poor in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Maharashtra and Gujarat since 1996.

Key responsibilities: -
- Provide technical support to the field Implementation
- Conduct training to the team of engineers, village resource person, and PRI members.
- Survey and site selection of various WRD activities.
- Prepare design & estimation of the various WRD activities.
- Support Team in identifying beneficiaries and initiate formation of water users groups (WUG).
- Capacity building of WUGs on O&M;, governance.
- Responsible for liasoning with various departments, GPs and other local representatives for convergence.




- Support field teams in preparation of convergence plan and implement accordingly.
- Application of GIS in the planning and implementation, Monitoring and maintenance of the LWRD data.
- Timely documentation and reporting as per requirement of the theme/projects.
- Documentation and compilation of season end reports, donor reports, and other MIS requirement.

Required Qualification & Experience:
- Graduation/Post Graduation /Diploma in Agriculture Engineering, Civil Engineering from a reputed university/institution.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant field.
- Experience in managing watershed projects preferred.
