Hiring: Vice President – EHV Projects & Operations

? Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

We are looking for an accomplished leader to head our Extra High Voltage (EHV) Projects & Operations function. The role will be responsible for strategic planning, execution, operations, maintenance, asset management, and modernization of EHV transmission and substation infrastructure.

Experience Required
- 25+ years of experience in the Power/Energy sector
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Full time)
- M.Tech or MBA preferred
- Proven experience in EHV Substations (AIS/GIS), Transmission Lines, Cables, and Network Operations
- Strong exposure to EHV Projects (132 kV and above), including large-scale project execution and operations management
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder ecosystems
- Exposure to TBCB (Tariff Based Competitive Bidding) projects will be highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Network Planning
- Develop long-term EHV network expansion and modernization plans
- Lead capacity augmentation, substation additions,



and grid strengthening initiatives
- Drive renewable energy integration, storage systems, and smart grid programs
- Champion digital transformation initiatives including automation and advanced monitoring systems

Projects & Capital Infrastructure
- Lead end-to-end execution of EHV Substation, Transmission Line, and Cable projects
- Ensure delivery within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Drive project governance, contractor management, and performance monitoring
- Implement project management best practices and cost optimization initiatives

EHV Operations & Reliability
- Ensure reliable operation of EHV substations and transmission networks
- Improve network availability, system reliability, and outage management performance
- Drive predictive and condition-based maintenance programs
- Lead contingency planning and disaster recovery initiatives
