About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Shift Incharge to manage day-to-day floor operations at our Distribution Centre in Bangalore. The role owns end-to-end shift execution across Inbound, Outbound, Grading, and Allocation processes for FMCG and Fruits & Vegetables (FNV) categories, ensuring throughput, accuracy, and compliance targets are met within the assigned shift window.

Key Responsibilities

Shift Operations Management
- Plan and execute daily inbound (IB) and outbound (OB) operations for the assigned shift, covering Large Units, Case Break, and Small Reserve flows
- Allocate manpower across activities based on volume forecasts and priority orders
- Monitor real-time productivity and take corrective action to resolve bottlenecks

People & Team Management
- Supervise warehouse associates, pickers, loaders, and helpers on shift
- Conduct shift briefings, allocate tasks, and track attendance/manpower planning




- Escalate manpower shortfalls or performance issues to the Warehouse Manager

Process Compliance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to SOPs for IB/OB operations, grading, and allocation
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and shrinkage control
- Enforce safety, 5S, and vigilance standards on the floor
- Support internal/external audits (operations, safety, record maintenance, crate/RCC management)

Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate shift handover reports, MIS, and productivity logs
- Report daily/shift-wise KPIs to the Warehouse Manager
- Flag discrepancies in stock, damages, or process deviations promptly

Coordination
- Liaise with 3PL partner staff, transport teams, and other DC functions to ensure smooth material flow
- Coordinate with QC/Grading teams for FNV quality checks
