Role Description

The Senior Generative AI Engineer will design, build, and maintain production-grade systems that leverage state-of-the-art generative and agentic AI models to support The Agentic Loop’s content, tools, and programs. In this full-time remote role, the engineer will develop and iterate on pipelines for data ingestion,



prompt and agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and integration with internal platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include experimenting with frontier models and tools, implementing robust backend services and APIs, optimizing model performance and cost, and ensuring reliability, safety, and observability of AI-driven features. The engineer will collaborate closely with founders, content leads, and program facilitators to translate editorial and educational needs into practical AI features, prototypes, and internal utilities. This role also involves reviewing emerging research, shaping technical best practices, and mentoring others on production generative AI engineering within the organization.

Qualifications
- Solid experience with modern programming languages and backend development (e.g., Python, Typescript/JavaScript, Node.js, or similar), including building and maintaining
