Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage legal disputes related to consumer litigation, DRT (Debt Recovery Tribunal), court cases, and non-litigation matters.
- Ensure compliance with SARFAESI Act, Consumer Protection Act, Negotiable Instrument Act, and other relevant laws.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
- Provide expert advice on legal matters to senior management and other departments.
Job Requirements :
- 5-7 years of experience in banking or finance industry with expertise in civil cases, consumables, consumer protection act, court cases, DRT proceedings.
- Solid knowledge of SARFAESI Act and its application in financial institutions.
- Excellent negotiation skills for resolving disputes through mediation or arbitration.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
