Role Overview

The Territory Manager will drive sales, distribution, market expansion, and rural penetration for the Consumer Care Division in Sitamarhi. The role demands strong execution capability, leadership in managing 3P salesmen, and deep understanding of rural GT markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Growth
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Consumer Care products.
- Drive numeric & weighted distribution across rural markets
- Ensure strong product availability and visibility in General Trade outlets
- Expand coverage in underserved rural pockets and highpotential villages

2. Territory Operations & Execution
- Plan and execute daily market routes for self and 3P salesmen
- Ensure adherence to beat plans, coverage norms, and productivity KPIs
- Implement trade promotions, schemes, and merchandising activities




- Monitor stock levels, order execution, and secondary sales performance

3. Team Management (3P Salesmen)
- Lead, coach, and motivate 3P salesmen to achieve daily/weekly targets
- Conduct market working, onthejob training, and performance reviews
- Ensure discipline in reporting, route adherence, and outlet coverage
- Build capability in rural selling, product knowledge, and customer handling

4. Market Development & Rural Penetration
- Strengthen relationships with key retailers, wholesalers, and rural distributors
- Identify recent rural markets and drive outlet expansion
- Execute visibility initiatives and ensure planogram compliance
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and rural promotional strategies

5. Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate MIS, sales reports, and market insights
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, commercial processes, and GT norms
- Drive usage of CRM/SFA tools
