Role Overview?

We are looking for an AVP ? Engineering who brings strong leadership experience along with exposure to multiple technology stacks, including Java, .NET, cloud platforms, and contemporary databases. This is a technology-agnostic leadership role, focused on engineering excellence, system scalability, and building high performing teams.?

Key Responsibilities?

Engineering Leadership Delivery?

? Lead multiple engineering teams across backend, frontend, and platform groups.?

? Drive the design and delivery of scalable SaaS systems using Java, .NET, and cloud-native architectures.?

? Translate business requirements into actionable engineering roadmaps.?

? Ensure engineering best practices across coding, architecture, testing, performance, DevOps, and security.?

Technical Strategy Architecture?

? Provide architectural guidance across services built using Java and .NET stacks.?

? Oversee the design and optimisation of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).?





? Drive cloud strategy and adoption across AWS/Azure/GCP for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.?

? Evaluate new technologies and tools that improve engineering velocity and product performance.?

People Culture Leadership?

? Mentor engineering managers, architects, and senior engineers; build a strong leadership pipeline.?

? Develop a culture of ownership, innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.?

? Drive hiring, competency building, and career development across the engineering organisation.?

Operational Delivery Excellence?

? Own engineering KPIs: uptime, quality, incident response, velocity, release cadence, cloud cost optimisation.?

? Establish strong observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery practices.?

? Promote a culture of continuous improvement and automation.?

Cross-Functional Collaboration?

? Partner with Product, Design, QA, Security, Data, and Business teams to deliver high-impact solutions.?
