Job Summary

The Junior School Head is responsible for the overall academic, administrative, and operational management from Pre Primary to Grades 3.The role ensures effective curriculum implementation, high teaching standards, student development, staff supervision, parent engagement, and the smooth functioning of the junior school in alignment with the school's vision, CBSE guidelines, and NEP 2020.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day academic and administrative operations from Pre Primary to Grade 3
- Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 guidelines.
- Prepare and monitor the annual academic calendar, yearly planners, monthly planners, and assessment schedules.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom teaching, and curriculum delivery across all grades.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Mentor, guide,



and support teachers to improve instructional practices and classroom management.
- Monitor students' academic performance, discipline, attendance, and overall well-being.
- Ensure continuous assessment practices and timely completion of examinations and report cards.
- Promote creative teaching strategies, experiential learning, project-based learning, and technology integration.
- Organize regular staff meetings, academic reviews, and professional development sessions.
- Identify teacher training needs and coordinate capacity-building programs.
- Coordinate with teacher's and support staff to ensure academic consistency.
- Ensure proper maintenance of academic records, lesson plans, assessment records, and student documentation.
- Supervise classroom environments, displays, laboratories, library usage, and learning resources.
