Job Description: -

The incumbent would be responsible for the following:

1. Operational control and management
- Operational control and management of the overall operations of Fixed Deposit Scheme
- Managing the flow of Public Deposit Collections across 9 Brokers, and direct collection from employees / retired employees etc.
- Ensuring correct and timely recording of these collections in the Deposit system, and corresponding accounting of the same integrated in ERP Cash Book.
- Managing the process of timely payment of interest and refund of Deposits by NECS / Cheque and managing rejection/return under ECS / cheque.
- Accurate and timely reconciliation of all deposit-related ledger balances with FD system.




- Daily control over outstanding FD balance to ensure that amount raised by way of deposit is at all times within the limit as laid down under Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules, 2014.
- Managing the monthly filing of Form 121 under the Income Tax Act with Income Tax dept.
- All communications like FD Receipts, ECS intimations for interest / refunds, TDS Certificates, Renewal Intimations are sent in a timely manner.

2. Statutory Compliance Regulations
- Ensuring operational compliance with all statutory regulations as per the relevant laws
- Managing the compliance under the Companies Act, 2013 of depositing unclaimed Deposit / Interest payments with Investors Education and Protection Fund.
- TDS to be correctly deducted as per the applicable rates under the Income Tax Act, 1961, after considering exempted category like Form 121, and all TDS certificates to be correctly and timely generated for mailing to deposit holders, as per the statutory time frame (now quarterly).
