QA/QC Engineer Building Construction

Job Description

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer (Civil) with experience in building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) systems at the project site, ensuring all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, IS Codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect reinforcement works before concreting as per approved drawings and BBS.
- Verify reinforcement details including bar diameter, spacing, lap length, anchorage, and cover.
- Monitor concrete pouring, slump tests, cube casting, curing, and quality records.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IR), Pour Cards, Checklists, and QA/QC documentation.
- Maintain cement, reinforcement,



and material consumption records.
- Verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and maintain material traceability.
- Prepare monthly Quality MIS reports and inspection reports.
- Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate CAPA activities.
- Coordinate with Consultants, Architects, Clients, and Site Engineers for inspections and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, Method Statements, ITPs, IS Codes, and ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Support internal and external quality audits.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in QA/QC for residential, commercial, high-rise, township, or institutional building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of RCC works, reinforcement inspection, concrete quality control, finishing quality checks, and QA/QC documentation.
